If this happens, there will be some other type of insurance for the bank accounts that will be set up at that time, btw , if your money is in any of the sensitive banks it is better to move it out to more stable banks.

My son is in custody and I am bonding him out this week;
ICE charged him deportable as a Aggrevated Felon becuase ;
He had a PETTY LARCENY in 2009 (misdemeanor) - orginal sentance to 60 days weekend intermittent jail and 3 years probation;
He violated probation and was given a year of weekends by the judge;
Now ICE are charging him as a AF saying he is deportable because his record shows 365 sentance for the petty larceny!!!
I an others disagree and that 'a year of weekends' is NOT a sentance of a year or a suspended year;
Any case files or history anyone - your answers are welcomed!

Recently I have got Denial notice from INS on my I-140 application. All the documents are fine. Just They have mentioned as My Education Qualification is not equivalent to US Education. My Education is B.Sc. Physics and MBA.
Is anybody has got same problem, and if yes Please let me know what to do in this situation.
I am thinking of getting good Education Evaluation from Somebody. But I don't know it�s just happened because of Lawyer. Do I need to go to smart , strong Attorney to do this. OR Apply for new labor again and start the process.
Please suggest me on this.

It is the first contract between Company (B) and my husbands company (A). Above all my husband himself found this project.
Above all, the contract between Company (B) and Company (A) does not mention the end client name, and the contract seems to be a general contract, basically saying that my husband is rendering services to Company (B).
I will really appreciate all the help and guidance.

My H1B visa stamping application finally got approved after 2 months at the Mumbai consulate. But I travelled back on the AP a month back as my employer started getting impatient.
I have received an email from them asking to submit the passport for stamping as the administrative processing on the application is completed.
I am planning to write back to them that I no longer need a visa stamp for travel as I travelled back on the AP. Would this be a bad idea ?
Has anyone withdrawn their H1B visa stamping application before ?
Appreciate any information on this.

There is no approval notice for PERM labor. USCIS puts the approval number and date on the application itself which contains the job duties. I hope this helps.

I e-filed,got my EAD in 2 months,AP in 5 months
My wife efiled,got EAD and AP in 5 months.
We went for FP for sure!
So it can be a long process even when you efile.
All you need is luck:)

Just curious, why didn't you file in June 07? Your PD was current then? You would have been way ahead had you filed in June.

I am planning on changing to another company but I dont have the labor certification details. All I know is, it is Software Engineer and have salary details and some basic job requirements. My I-140 is approved. If I move to another company on EAD, and if I get an RFE, how can I provide the details of same/similar employment?

I did call them... They didn't provide me the details of the Additional evidence and asked me to wait for the Notice.. Also they said they will be sending it to my address.. I was under the impression that they will be sending it to my lawyer.

but in this case the H1b stamp on my passport is still valid and not expired.
i am entering on nov 11th. stamp expires on december 1. why i am worried is just because the stamp is still of old employer whereas 797 is of new employer.
port of entry may ask me why didnt i get the stamp again when it is just expiring after 20 days ?? U know....

Thanks Raj. Is interfiling request just a one page letter to USCIS or anything more involved? I presume you also did the priority date porting at the same time.
