Yes, this is very sad. I did receive the same email. Monthly $10 wouldn't be much. May be you can get rid of one pay channel or the munchies from grocery store. That's the only sacrifice you had to do !

Taxes are paid on earned money only. Not loans.
If your spouse takes a student loan in USA, there are other advantages though. He/she can claim student loan deduction on the taxes !! Not sure your Indian bank would provide the necessary forms to you or if they have a legal obligation to submit anything to IRS here.

I understand that you can draw circles, lines etc with the Graphics class but can you draw straight onto a panel with the stylus? As in I drag the stylus across the panel and a line appears?

Even though at will employment, you can ask for ticket. When they applied for your petition, they agreed for all laws governing H1B. No excuse for them. If they do not agree, contact the labor department.

I have a EAD valid for next 2 years and H1 is also valid till Nov 2010, my employer want to cancel my H1 and to put me on EAD. Is there any kind of risk involved in doing so, Please suggest.
There is not much risk in moving to EAD but I don't get why your employer wants to cancel an H1 which is valid till 2010. I have seen employers not wanting to extend an H1 if the employee has an EAD but going out of way to cancel a valid H1 seems extreme.
Tell your employer to continue your employment on H1 until it expires and then they can start you on EAD. That would give you enough time to think of the PROs and CONS.
A lot of people move to EAD ( don't renew H1 ) since it only costs more money for the company ( although it provides a small safety net in case your I-485 is in jeopardy somehow ). In my view it is very safe to move to EAD but again in your case I would ask the company to wait till 2010 for your current H1 to expire.

I have a question, on 25 june i got a RFE, i have not received it yet neither did my lawyer. The case status shows that both me and my wife got the RFE. I think its most probaly to produce the Birth Certificate.
My wife BC is in the process and i think i will be able to get it by the end of the week.
My question is that if i am unable to get the BC of my wife in time, is it possible to buy some more days from USCIS. Like CAN USCIS provide SOME ADDITIONAL TIME SO THAT I CAN GET THE BC OF MY WIFE AND THEN SUBMIT. I DONT KNOW WHATS THE DEADLINE IS BUT I BELIVE ITS A VERY CLOSE CALL !!!! Yes for H1B you are entitled to get Return ticket back to your home country if you are being laid off or fired. Last year my earlier employer offer me return ticket to home contry. They specified that we are offering as per the clause or law of H1B visa. Offcourse I didnt accept it but you cant get money for not accepting this return ticket offer.
